THIS IS HORRIBLE — PROSECUTORS MAKE DISTURBING NEW CLAIMS ABOUT KIM ZOLCIAK’S TEEN SON

Y’all, I don't even have anything funny to say about this one.

This is horrible.

Prosecutors have revealed disturbing new allegations involving KJ Biermann, the 15-year-old son of fthiormer “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak and retired NFL player Kroy Biermann.

During a bond hearing Friday, prosecutors alleged that investigators discovered videos on KJ’s phone involving sexual acts with a family member who was under the age of 12.

Because children are involved, I'm not going into graphic details about what prosecutors say those videos contain. You don't need those details to understand how serious these allegations are.

According to prosecutors, the discovery is connected to an earlier sexual battery case involving the younger family member. KJ had reportedly already been under court supervision in connection with that matter.

He is now being held in a youth detention facility following a separate case involving a classmate.

In that case, prosecutors accuse KJ of sexually assaulting the girl during an April encounter at a Georgia fitness facility. He was arrested in August and has since been indicted on seven felony counts, including aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery.

His attorney maintains that KJ is innocent, and he is expected to plead not guilty.

A judge did not make a final decision on bond during Friday's hearing.

Now let me say this as Lady Red:

I don't care how famous your parents are.

I don't care how much money your family has.

I don't care what reality show your mama was on.

Children must be protected. Period.

And because KJ is also a minor, I'm not going to sit here and convict a 15-year-old through a microphone or on social media. That's what the court system is for.

But these allegations are extremely serious, and if investigators have video evidence involving a child under 12, then every adult responsible for protecting the children involved needs to be asking some very difficult questions.

How did we get here?

Who knew what?

Were there warning signs?

And most importantly, are the alleged victims safe and receiving the help they need?

This story isn't reality-TV entertainment.

These are children.

And whatever the courts ultimately determine happened, their safety and well-being should come before anybody's fame, reputation or television name.
