Music legend Lionel Richie is reportedly recovering in a St. Louis hospital after being admitted to intensive care following a weekend performance.

And before anybody starts with the rumors, let's stick to what has actually been reported.

Richie, 77, performed Saturday night at The Muny in Forest Park, but concertgoers noticed the veteran entertainer wasn't quite himself toward the end of the show. During “All Night Long,” Richie reportedly needed a chair and completed the performance while seated.

Afterward, Richie went to a local hospital, where he was admitted to the ICU while doctors evaluated him.

Current reporting indicates doctors are looking at possible dehydration, but no official diagnosis has been publicly announced by Richie's representatives. Sources familiar with the situation have described the hospital stay as precautionary and said Richie hoped to be released soon.

The hospitalization follows another health scare earlier this summer.

During a June performance in Minnesota, Richie told the crowd he wasn't feeling right and was experiencing dizziness. He ended that concert early and subsequently postponed additional performances before eventually returning to the stage.
