Not even a respectable little group of four knuckleheads making questionable life decisions.

Chicago police say they're looking for a group involving as many as 16 teenagers in connection with a series of robberies in the Loop and South Loop.

Baby, that's not a crew.

THAT'S A CLASS FIELD TRIP WITH FELONY ALLEGATIONS. 😩

🚨 WHAT POLICE SAY HAPPENED

According to Chicago police, the robberies happened during several separate incidents in downtown Chicago. Police say groups of young people approached victims, attacked them with their fists and feet and took their belongings.

In some of the incidents, authorities say the victims were knocked to the ground during the attacks.

Now listen...

Robbery is already stupid.

But allegedly bringing enough people to form two basketball teams, substitutes AND somebody to keep score?

WHO ORGANIZED THIS?!

Was there a group text?

A calendar invite?

Did somebody send out a reminder:

“Hey y'all, don't forget we're making terrible decisions downtown tonight. Meet at 7.” 

👀 POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR MULTIPLE SUSPECTS

Chicago police released information about the robberies as investigators work to identify the young people allegedly involved.

And somewhere in Chicago right now, somebody's mama is looking at those descriptions thinking:

“That jacket looks familiar...”

Baby, if your child came home out of breath with somebody else's iPhone, three wallets and 15 new friends...

ASK QUESTIONS. 😂

Because CPD is.

🤦🏾‍♀️ SIXTEEN PEOPLE... FOR A ROBBERY?!

This is what makes the whole thing especially ridiculous.

You allegedly needed UP TO SIXTEEN PEOPLE?

For what?!

At that point, whatever you stole has to be divided so many ways everybody gets $3.47 and one AirPod.

Imagine risking your future just to get your portion of the loot and somebody hands you:

“Here's your $6 and a Ventra card.”

Absolutely not. 😭

Jokes aside, people were actually hurt.

Being surrounded by a large group, knocked down, kicked, punched and robbed can be terrifying, and nobody walking through downtown Chicago should have to worry about becoming somebody's target.

These aren't harmless teenage shenanigans if the allegations are accurate.

People were assaulted.

And being young doesn't magically erase the consequences when somebody gets hurt.

So while we can laugh at the sheer stupidity of allegedly needing a small marching band to commit a robbery, the violence itself is serious.

📢 CHICAGO POLICE WANT INFORMATION

Police are asking anyone with information that could help identify the people involved to contact investigators.

And here's a little free advice for the alleged participants:

When the police say they're looking for up to 16 people, that's a whole lot of opportunities for somebody to start talking.

Because you know how this goes.

Everybody is a team until somebody hears:

“So... who wants to go home?”

Then suddenly:

“Officer, actually, I have something I'd like to share.”
