-WOMAN REPORTED MISSING AFTER O’HARE LAYOVER HAS BEEN FOUND

A frightening search involving a 27-year-old woman who became separated from her travel plans during a layover at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport has ended with the news her family desperately wanted to hear:

SHE HAS BEEN FOUND.

According to information shared by her family, Zanajha Andrews, also known as Ari, left Pittsburgh International Airport with plans to travel to Charlotte, North Carolina. Her itinerary included a layover at O’Hare.

During the layover, something apparently went wrong. Her family said she asked an airport worker to use a phone to call her mother and ask to be picked up, but her mother missed the call.

Later, Zanajha contacted her family from different telephone numbers. Her mother said she appeared confused and repeatedly disconnected the calls, causing immediate concern because the behavior was completely out of character.

Family members eventually determined that she had been at a Shell gas station near West Higgins Avenue in Chicago, where an employee confirmed she had spent approximately 45 minutes using the store’s telephone.

Her family contacted authorities in both Illinois and Pennsylvania as they desperately tried to locate her. A missing-person report was ultimately filed with police near the family’s Pennsylvania home while relatives continued reaching out to Chicago authorities.

The family also publicly asked Chicago-area residents for help, sharing Zanajha’s photograph and describing the clothing she was believed to be wearing.

What began as an ordinary flight quickly turned into what her mother described as a “real-life nightmare.”

Fortunately, that search now has the ending everyone was hoping for.

The family has confirmed that Zanajha Andrews is no longer missing.

She has been located.
