• 1619📚The Dutch brought the 1st Black slaves to Point Comfort (not Jamestown) on a ship called WHITE LION in the James River. They were traded for food to the English & then transported to Jamestown where they were then sold into slavery. It is now Ft Monroe in Hampton; VA this would mark the beginning of terror & forced labor for Black people who were sold into slavery. While the arrival of the 1st Africans in Jamestown is well documented historical & archeological evidence suggests that Black people were already here before they arrived
