A 29-year-old Florida mother, Nathalie Belizaire, was arrested after police say she left four children home alone, including a 2-month-old baby and a 2-year-old, while she took a three-day cruise to the Bahamas. Baller Alert

Police allege Belizaire boarded the Carnival Conquest on September 25 and sailed away while the children remained inside her North Miami Beach apartment without an adult. She now faces four counts of child neglect without great bodily harm, according to the arrest report. Baller Alert

According to police, the father of the infant saw what appeared to be a Carnival cruise ticket purchase on Belizaire's WhatsApp story.

He reportedly spoke with her beforehand, and police say she told him the children would be staying with their great-grandmother.

Except...

When the father went to the apartment that Saturday, he reportedly saw the television on through the blinds and could hear the children inside.

He called 911.

Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue forced their way inside and found the children without an adult present, according to the arrest report. Authorities later contacted the great-grandmother, who reportedly said Belizaire was supposed to bring the children to her but never did. Baller Alert

Belizaire reportedly remained aboard until the ship returned to Miami Monday morning.
