🚨⚖️ LIL DURK FOUND NOT GUILTY! CHICAGO RAPPER BEATS MURDER-FOR-HIRE CASE

CHICAGO... THIS IS A BIG ONE.
After nearly two years behind bars awaiting trial, Lil Durk has been found NOT GUILTY in his federal murder-for-hire case.
Durk, whose real name is Durk Banks, had been accused by federal prosecutors of helping orchestrate a 2022 attack in Los Angeles that allegedly targeted rapper Quando Rondo. Quando survived, but his cousin Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson was killed.
Durk maintained his innocence.
And after weeks of testimony, evidence, cooperating witnesses, arguments from both sides and three days of jury deliberations, the jury acquitted him.
Baby...
THE FEDS BROUGHT THE CASE. THE JURY BROUGHT THE “NOT GUILTY.” 😳
⚖️ THIS WASN'T SOME LITTLE CASE
Durk wasn't fighting a slap-on-the-wrist charge.
A conviction on the most serious charges could have meant life in federal prison.
Prosecutors argued that Durk used money and people associated with his OTF organization to help arrange retaliation following the 2020 killing of his friend and fellow Chicago rapper King Von.
Durk's defense told jurors the government simply couldn't prove that.
His attorneys attacked the credibility of cooperating witnesses and argued that prosecutors were trying to connect Durk to other people's actions without enough evidence proving that HE knowingly ordered the attack.
And ultimately, the jury was not convinced beyond a reasonable doubt.
🚨 BUT WAIT BEFORE EVERYBODY STARTS YELLING “FREE DURK!”
Here's the part social media is about to skip.
An acquittal does NOT necessarily mean Durk is walking out of federal custody tonight.
Durk still faces a separate federal racketeering case that was split from this trial.
Those charges were severed, not dismissed.
So while today's verdict is an enormous legal victory, his entire federal legal battle is NOT OVER.
His attorneys can fight for his release while that second case moves forward, and prosecutors can fight to keep him detained.
So don't let somebody post a video of a random SUV leaving a courthouse and tell y'all:
“DURK HOME!”
Baby, WAIT FOR CONFIRMATION. 😂
🏙️ AND YOU ALREADY KNOW CHICAGO IS TALKING.
Lil Durk went from Chicago's drill scene to becoming one of the biggest rappers in the country, winning a Grammy and building an international career.
Then suddenly he was facing the possibility of spending the rest of his life in federal prison.
Now a jury has acquitted him in the murder-for-hire case.
That's a MASSIVE turn.
But there's also a family at the center of this story that lost someone. Saviay’a Robinson was killed, and today's verdict doesn't erase that loss.
So yes, this is major breaking news for Durk and Chicago.
But the story isn't finished.
Lil Durk beat THIS case.
Now everybody is watching to see what happens with his custody and that separate federal case next.
And trust me...
CHICAGO IS WATCHING. 👀
