🪪😂 MICHIGAN SENT 8,200 PEOPLE IDS WITH THE WRONG MAN'S FACE!

Baby, Michigan... COME ON IN THE ROOM.

Imagine waiting on your brand-new enhanced driver's license, opening that envelope, looking at the card and saying:

“WHO THE HELL IS THIS MAN?!” 😂

Because that's basically what happened to about 8,200 Michigan residents.

A batch of enhanced driver's licenses and state IDs printed on August 26 had a major printing mistake. Instead of displaying the cardholder's correct secondary photo and information, the cards showed a generic stock photo of a smiling man, along with a fake birth date and placeholder information.

Now let me correct one thing from earlier: this wasn't actually another Michigan resident's picture. State officials say it was a generic stock image used by the vendor.

Which somehow makes this FUNNIER.

Because imagine getting pulled over.

Officer: “Ma'am, is this you?”

Me: “Well, the big picture is me. But apparently that little man in the corner rides with me on Tuesdays.” 😭😂

And you KNOW somebody opened that envelope and stared at that license for a good five minutes.

“Maybe Michigan changed the design?”

NO, BABY. Michigan did not assign you a bonus Black man! 😂

The state says the problem came from its outside printing vendor, Idemia, and affected only that batch of cards.

Thankfully, Michigan says corrected cards have already been mailed automatically, so affected residents don't have to apply again or pay for another one. Temporary IDs are also available while people wait.

But baby, 8,200?!

One messed-up license is an accident.

Ten is a problem.

EIGHT THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED means somebody needed to hit STOP on that printer about 8,190 cards ago!

And that's your Today's BOOM.

Because nothing says government efficiency like receiving official identification and having to ask:

“Okay... WHICH ONE OF US IS DRIVING?!” 😂
