NAACP MARCH ON WASHINGTON 2026

Several of the nation's leading civil rights organizations, including the NAACP, National Action Network, and the National Urban League, are inviting people from across the country to take part in the March on Washington 2026: Defend the Vote.
The march is scheduled for Friday, August 28, at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. Organizers say the event is focused on protecting voting rights, promoting equal opportunity, and encouraging civic engagement. It also marks the 63rd anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s historic "I Have a Dream" speech.
