🏀🔥 OLIVIA MILES IS BALLIN’! ROOKIE SNATCHES THREE CAITLIN CLARK RECORDS IN ONE SEASON

Baby, somebody better tell Olivia Miles that a rookie season is supposed to be the introduction, not the part where you start rearranging the record book. 😂

The Minnesota Lynx rookie has officially taken three rookie milestones previously held by Caitlin Clark, with the biggest one coming Sunday when Miles became the WNBA's new single-season rookie scoring leader. She entered Minnesota's game against Connecticut tied with Clark's 2024 record of 769 points and passed it at the free-throw line early in the second quarter.

And before somebody starts hollering, “But the season is longer now!” Hold your whistle. 😂

The WNBA schedule is now 44 games compared with 40 during Clark's rookie season, but Miles broke Clark's scoring record in her 40th game, the same number Clark played when she scored 769. Miles finished Sunday's 101-89 Lynx victory with 21 points, six assists and three rebounds, pushing her season total to 790 points.

😳 AND THAT'S RECORD NUMBER THREE

Miles has been collecting rookie records like somebody left the trophy case unlocked.

Earlier this season, she knocked down eight three-pointers in one game, breaking the rookie record of seven previously held by Clark. Miles also became the fastest rookie to reach 350 points, 100 rebounds and 100 assists, doing it in 21 games. Clark and Andrea Stinson had reached that combination in 22.

Now add the rookie scoring crown.

Three records. One rookie season.

That's what makes this season even nastier.

Miles entered Sunday's game averaging 19.7 points, 6.0 assists and 4.7 rebounds. Against Connecticut she shot 7-for-10 from the field and made all six of her free throws.

So this isn't somebody firing up 37 shots trying to get her name on a graphic.

She's scoring, distributing and doing it efficiently.

And when asked about breaking the record, Miles immediately gave credit to her teammates and coaches, saying the accomplishment reflects how well Minnesota has been working together.

Okay Olivia, very humble.
