💄GLORILLA SAID THE RAP CHECK AIN’T ENOUGH... SHE’S STEPPING INTO BEAUTY TECH!

GloRilla is expanding the empire, and this time she isn't dropping a single. She's jumping into the beauty-tech business.

The Memphis rapper has launched GloVerse, a new platform designed to connect customers with beauty professionals, including hairstylists, barbers, nail technicians, makeup artists and other beauty-service providers.

And THIS actually makes sense.

Because if you've ever needed somebody to do your hair at the last minute, you already know the struggle.

You text your regular stylist.

“Hey girl, you got anything Saturday?”

She responds Tuesday.

Of NEXT WEEK. 😭

Meanwhile you're online searching through 47 pages, trying to figure out who can actually do the style in the picture, who has an appointment available and who isn't about to hit you with:

$75 deposit. Hair must arrive washed, stretched, moisturized, emotionally healed and prepared to participate.

😂😂😂

GloVerse is designed to make that process easier by putting beauty professionals and potential clients together in one digital marketplace.

💰 GLORILLA IS THINKING BEYOND MUSIC

And this is the part I LOVE.

Music can make you rich.

Ownership can KEEP you rich.

GloRilla has already built herself into one of hip-hop's recognizable names, but instead of assuming those rap checks are going to fall out of the sky forever, she's attaching her name and money to another industry.

And not just ANY industry.

BEAUTY.

Baby, Black women have been keeping the beauty industry employed since Moses was getting lineups in Egypt. 😂

Hair.

Nails.

Lashes.

Brows.

Makeup.

Wigs.

Braids.

Barbers.

Locs.

We will absolutely find money for the beauty appointment.

You might hear:

“Girl, I'm BROKE.”

Then ask:

“Who did your hair?”

“Oh, Keisha. It was only $275.”

MA'AM. 😭

💥 LADY RED SAYS...

THIS is the kind of celebrity business move I like seeing.

Don't just slap your name on another bottle of liquor, collect a check and call yourself a mogul.

Find an industry people are already spending money in and figure out how to build something useful inside it.

Now, whether GloVerse becomes the next major beauty-booking platform depends on execution. The beauty-tech space already has competition, and getting stylists AND customers to consistently use a new platform isn't easy.

But the idea?

I SEE YOU, GLO! 👏🏾

Because the real flex isn't just making money while everybody knows your name.

It's building something that can potentially make money when your song ain't playing.

Now if GloVerse can find me somebody who does hair, takes appointments ON TIME, doesn't cancel 14 minutes before I arrive and doesn't require a $200 nonrefundable deposit plus my blood type and firstborn child...

Baby, she might have something. 😂💇🏾‍♀️💅🏾
