Texas Roadhouse food allegations headline by 730 Boom Radio.

Now HOLD THE ENTIRE HELL UP.

Because I was minding my Black-ass business when the internet decided to drop THIS nasty mess on my timeline.

A viral allegation started circulating claiming there was a private Facebook group with more than 400,000 members, allegedly including white restaurant workers discussing contaminating Black customers' food. The claims included spitting in food, licking fingers before touching food and messing with restaurant rolls. Texas Roadhouse and Logan's Roadhouse were among the restaurant chains dragged into the allegations.

FOUR. HUNDRED. THOUSAND?!

Baby, I almost threw my whole damn refrigerator away and it ain't even do nothing!

Because WHAT?!

Before we go any further, though, let me put the FACTS on the table next to the silverware:

There is currently no verified evidence that 400,000 restaurant employees were actually doing this.

The 400,000 figure refers to the alleged size of the supposed Facebook group, NOT 400,000 Texas Roadhouse employees.

Texas Roadhouse has strongly denied the allegations, saying it found no credible evidence of food tampering and calling the claims completely unfounded. The company also said it brought in an outside firm to investigate the origin of the accusations.

And one person who helped spread the allegations online later said her research led her to believe the story was a hoax.

GOOD.

INVESTIGATE THE WHOLE DAMN THING.

Because whether somebody actually did this OR somebody invented the entire story, SOMEBODY IS SICK.

BECAUSE WHO EVEN THINKS OF SOME SHIT LIKE THIS?!

If somebody fabricated screenshots or invented a story about white restaurant employees secretly contaminating Black people's food...

WHAT KIND OF RACIST, NASTY-ASS MIND EVEN COMES UP WITH THAT?!

That's supposed to be funny?

That's supposed to get you some likes?

Some shares?

A couple thousand new followers?!

You don't play with people's fears about racism AND FOOD.

Because now you got Black folks sitting at Texas Roadhouse staring at the damn rolls like:

👀

“WHO TOUCHED THESE?”

😭😭😭

And don't bring me no cinnamon butter yet!

I'M CONDUCTING AN INVESTIGATION.

AND IF ANY OF IT IS REAL?!

Then we have an entirely DIFFERENT problem.

If investigators ever find that ANY restaurant employee deliberately spit in, contaminated or otherwise tampered with somebody's food because they're Black, I don't give a damn what restaurant it happened at.

FIRE THEM.

PROSECUTE THEM.

And don't give me that:

“They're young.”

“They made a mistake.”

“They didn't mean any harm.”

A mistake is forgetting the damn ranch dressing.

SPITTING IN SOMEBODY'S FOOD IS A DECISION.

And doing it because of somebody's race would make it even more disgusting.

But right now, we do NOT have evidence establishing some 400,000-person food-spitting army.

And that's important because I ain't about to sit here on 730 BOOM Radio and turn a viral allegation into a fact just because Facebook said it.

BUT I'M STILL MAD AS HELL THAT I HAD TO READ THIS!

Because now you've put something in people's heads that you can't just snatch back out.

Food is personal.

You're trusting complete strangers with something you're about to PUT INSIDE YOUR BODY.

I don't need to be sitting there wondering if somebody in the kitchen saw me walk through the door and decided:

“I don't like Black people today.”

HELL NAW.

And let me tell y'all something about Lady Red.

I KNOW ENOUGH PEOPLE WHO OWN RESTAURANTS THAT I CAN GO EAT THERE!

😂😭

I know the owners!

I know the cooks!

I know somebody's mama!

I know somebody's cousin!

I know somebody who can walk in that kitchen and say:

“That's Lady Red's plate. DON'T PLAY.”

😂

And if I'm out of town?

SEE-THROUGH KITCHEN.

That's it.

I need GLASS.

I need WINDOWS.

I need VISIBILITY.

Hell, put the kitchen in the middle of the dining room!

😭😭😭

I wanna see Earl seasoning the chicken.

I wanna see Brenda buttering the rolls.

I wanna see who made my salad.

I wanna see who poured my drink.

I wanna see who carried my plate.

If somebody sneezes three counties away, I NEED A CLEAR LINE OF SIGHT.

😂😂😂

And if I can't see what's going on back there?

I'LL FREAKIN' COOK MY OWN DAMN FOOD!

I GOT POTS!

I GOT PANS!

I GOT AN AIR FRYER!

I GOT SEASONING!

I WILL SURVIVE.

😭😂

Because my dinner is supposed to come with mashed potatoes, vegetables and gravy.

NOT A DAMN DNA SAMPLE.

🤢

And y'all REALLY pissed me off bringing the rolls into this.

Them poor Texas Roadhouse rolls ain't asked to be involved in none of this!

They were just sitting there being warm and buttery.

Now I'm supposed to pick one up with tweezers and send it to the crime lab?!

“CSI: CINNAMON BUTTER.”

😭😂😂😂

🔴 BUT HERE'S THE SERIOUS PART...

This is exactly why we have to stop turning every viral post into confirmed news.

A screenshot isn't automatically evidence.

A Facebook post isn't automatically journalism.

A person saying “I heard...” doesn't transform something into fact.

If this alleged Facebook group existed as described, SHOW THE RECEIPTS AND INVESTIGATE IT.

If somebody fabricated the entire thing, FIND OUT WHO DID THAT TOO.

Because falsely accusing restaurant workers of racially motivated food contamination can destroy reputations, scare customers, hurt businesses and potentially cost innocent people their jobs.

And ACTUAL food tampering is serious enough that we don't need fake stories muddying the water.

🔴 LADY RED SAYS...

Until somebody produces credible evidence, I'm not telling y'all:

“400,000 white people are spitting in Black people's food.”

Because we don't know that.

What we DO know is that an absolutely disgusting allegation went viral, Texas Roadhouse denied it, and questions remain about where the claims originated.

So investigate it.

Get the facts.

Find the source.

And if somebody made this whole damn thing up for attention?

YOUR ASS NEEDS TO EXPLAIN WHY.

Because racism isn't clickbait.

Food contamination isn't a joke.

And Black people's legitimate concerns about discrimination aren't toys for somebody to play with because their engagement was low that week.

Meanwhile, Lady Red will be over here...

washing my hands...

preheating the oven...

seasoning my own chicken...

and looking through the kitchen window like:

👁️👁️

“WHO MADE THESE ROLLS?”

😭😭😂😂

But in all seriousness if this was a hoax now it gives them an idea to do it. smfh.
