  • 1831📚Nat Turner began a slave rebellion in Southampton County, VA known as NAT TURNER'S REBELLION a 2-day insurrection where 75 enslaved people stood up for their freedom and ravaged the area of Southampton County. A revolt killing over 55 whites while freeing their slaves. This sent fear throughout the South amongst the slave owners
