🐻💰 CHICAGOLAND NONPROFITS, THE BEARS HAVE $107,000 WITH SOMEBODY’S NAME ON IT

The Chicago Bears are putting some serious money behind organizations doing real work in Chicago and the suburbs.

Applications are open for the 2026 Community All-Pros Grant, and one Chicagoland nonprofit will walk away with $107,000 to help expand its work in the community.

And listen, $107,000 is not a little ceremonial check you hold up for a picture and then go home with enough money to buy three folding tables. 😂 That kind of money could make a real difference for the right organization.

💰 WHO CAN APPLY?

The Bears are looking for nonprofit organizations making a measurable impact across Chicagoland. The program focuses on four major areas: health equity, economic advancement, education and community safety. 

Organizations need to be located in the Chicagoland area, demonstrate a commitment to the communities they serve and explain how receiving the $107,000 would strengthen or expand their work.

So if you know a neighborhood organization feeding families, mentoring kids, helping people find jobs, improving community safety, supporting education or tackling health disparities, SEND THEM THIS STORY.

Don't assume they already know.

⏰ AND DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE

Applications close Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Central Time. The Bears say an internal committee will narrow the applications to 15 finalists, and a committee of Bears season-ticket holders will then help select the winner.

The winning nonprofit is expected to be notified by December 18, with the organization scheduled to be recognized at Soldier Field when the Bears host the Detroit Lions on January 3, 2027. 

Last year's grant went to Friends of the Children–Chicago, an organization providing long-term professional mentorship to Chicago youth. The Community All-Pros program has been recognizing community organizations since 2019.
