Baby, COME GET YOUR BOY because former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom went to a Chicago Sky game talking about protecting women's basketball and somehow ended the night arguing with one of the women playing basketball, getting escorted out, and eventually getting BANNED FROM THE BUILDING, then eventually getting unbanned.

You cannot make this mess up. 😭

Freedom was sitting courtside Sunday at Wintrust Arena for the Chicago Sky vs. Indiana Fever game wearing a shirt that read:

“WOMAN. noun. adult human female.”

That wasn't a random fashion choice either. Freedom has become outspoken against transgender women competing in women's sports and recently announced that he intended to enter the 2027 WNBA Draft, saying he identifies as a woman as part of a protest over eligibility rules. The WNBA has since determined that Freedom and former NBA player Royce White are not eligible for the draft, according to reports.

So already...

SIR/MA'AM, THE APPLICATION HAS BEEN DENIED. 😭

But WAIT.

Because we haven't even gotten to the good part.

🍿 SO WTF HAPPENED WITH NATASHA CLOUD?

According to Freedom, the fireworks started after Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham hit a three-pointer.

Freedom says he threw his hands up celebrating.

Okay. Basketball game. People cheer. Normal stuff.

Except Freedom says a couple possessions later, Chicago Sky guard Natasha Cloud came toward him yelling and allegedly hit him with:

We went from women's basketball policy to WHO TRYNA SLEEP WITH WHO in 2.7 seconds.

Freedom says he responded that he wasn't trying to sleep with Cunningham and that he was there to “protect women” and support her. He claims Cloud continued yelling and cursing at him. That exact exchange is Freedom's version of what was said, not an independently confirmed transcript of their argument.

Video does confirm that Cloud approached Freedom while yelling and pointing at him.

Freedom stood up, stretched his arms out and stepped onto the court, and security and Sky players moved between them.

Freedom was escorted from the court area. On his way out, he pulled at the message on his shirt and told officials that he was being removed for supporting women.

But there's another side to this.

A fan sitting next to Freedom told reporters that Cloud initiated the confrontation and said she hadn't seen Freedom doing anything problematic beforehand. However, Chicago Sky owner Michael Alter later said people seated nearby reported Freedom had been directing basketball-related trash talk toward Cloud earlier in the quarter.

Cloud didn't give reporters her version immediately after the game, so anybody telling you they know every word exchanged between these two is adding seasoning that ain't in the pot.

👀 BUT WHY WERE THEY ALREADY ON OPPOSITE SIDES?

Here's where the story gets deeper.

Sophie Cunningham has publicly opposed transgender girls and women competing in female sports.

Freedom has been loudly campaigning around that same issue and even attended a rally supporting Cunningham before Sunday's game.

Meanwhile, Cloud has publicly supported the transgender community.

So this wasn't necessarily just one basketball cheer that magically caused World War III.

There was already a political and cultural controversy sitting courtside with him.

And that shirt certainly wasn't whispering. 😂

🚨 THEN THE SKY SAID: DON'T COME BACK

Now this part happened AFTER he was escorted out.

Chicago Sky owner Michael Alter said Tuesday that Freedom is indefinitely banned from Wintrust Arena, unless at some point he can demonstrate that he can follow arena rules without being considered a potential threat. Well he mustve demonstrated he can follow rules because he is not longer banned.

Alter also pushed back against Freedom's portrayal of himself as somebody who merely sat quietly wearing a T-shirt and suddenly got thrown out. He said multiple security authorities quickly agreed Freedom needed to be removed after he stepped toward the court.
