The Los Angeles Sparks unveiled the massive bronze tribute Sunday, September 20, honoring the woman who helped put both the franchise and women's professional basketball on the map.

Before Brittney Griner. Before the next generation started throwing them down. Before women's basketball was getting the attention, television coverage and crowds we're seeing today, Lisa Leslie went upstairs.

On July 30, 2002, Leslie threw down a one-handed dunk against the Miami Sol.

She entered the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015.

And when she retired?

She was the WNBA's all-time leader in both scoring and rebounding.
