TRUMP’S LABOR DAY MESSAGE WAS BASICALLY: HAPPY HOLIDAY… NOW LET ME INSULT EVERYBODY 😂

WASHINGTON: Labor Day is traditionally the day America recognizes its workers.

You know, nurses. Teachers. Construction workers. Truck drivers. Factory workers. People working two jobs. Folks who have been staring at the clock since 2:17 waiting for 5:00.

President Donald Trump apparently had another item on the holiday agenda:

ARGUE WITH PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET. 😭

Trump marked Labor Day with a Truth Social post wishing everyone a happy holiday, including people he described as “Radical Left Lunatics,” “Communists” and “Dumocrats.” He also called his political opponents “Deranged People” and accused them of trying to destroy the country.

Sir.

It's Labor Day.

Somebody just wanted to barbecue a rib and go home. 😂

📱 AND THAT WASN’T ALL

The holiday message was part of a much bigger social-media posting spree.

Trump spent portions of the weekend and Monday sharing memes, AI-generated images and maps, including several promoting the idea of changing New Mexico to “New America.”

Yes.

NEW AMERICA.

Apparently New Mexico woke up Sunday and somebody tried to give the whole damn state a rebrand it did not ask for. 😂

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham quickly rejected the idea, saying the state's name wasn't up for debate. And legally, the president cannot unilaterally rename a state anyway. 

So everybody in Albuquerque can leave their driver's licenses alone for now.

🗺️ THEN THE MAPS STARTED MAP-ING

Trump also shared an image depicting Canada, Mexico, Greenland, Cuba, Guatemala and other territory covered by the American flag, appearing to envision a dramatically expanded United States.

Sir...

We JUST finished talking about the United Nations wanting everybody to correct the world map.

WHY ARE WE MAKING NEW ONES?! 😭😭😭

Geography teachers haven't even put the dry-erase markers away.

First we're debating how Africa is represented.

Now Canada and Mexico done got drafted into America without filling out an application.

LEAVE THE MAP ALONE FOR FIVE MINUTES. 😂

🇺🇸 BUT BACK TO THAT LABOR DAY MESSAGE...

The president also used the post to predict a major Republican victory in the upcoming midterm elections and portrayed the election as a fight over the country's future.

That's political rhetoric. Presidents and politicians attack the opposing party all the time.

But doing it in the Labor Day greeting is what made this one stand out.

Because imagine opening the family cookout with:

“Happy Labor Day everybody! Except Cheryl. Cheryl is deranged, Kevin is a communist, and Aunt Denise is trying to destroy the family.”

Then grabbing a plate.
