Zeus Fight Night poster with Orlando Brown vs Ray J

šŸ“Atlanta, GA. Baby, Saturday night in Atlanta had a little bit of EVERYTHING.

Professional boxing.

Reality-TV beef.

Celebrity beef.

People who have been threatening to put hands on each other for months.

And somebody at Zeus apparently said:

ā€œENOUGH TALKING. PUT THE DAMN GLOVES ON.ā€Ā šŸ˜šŸ„Š

On Saturday, August 15, State Farm Arena in Atlanta hosted a boxing event headlined by undefeated champion Claressa Shields taking on Kaye Scott.

We already handled Claressa separately because that woman came to do PROFESSIONAL BOXING BUSINESS.

But underneath that championship fight was a Zeus-flavored portion of the card featuring two matchups that had social media pulling up a chair:

🄊 BIG LEX VS. TESEHKI

and

🄊 RAY J VS. ORLANDO BROWN

Now THESE weren't two random matchups somebody pulled out of a hat.

There was history.

There was beef.

There had been plenty of talking.

So Saturday night everybody finally got to see what happened when the cameras were rolling, the gloves were on and security wasn't standing between anybody.

🄊 FIRST UP: BIG LEX VS. TESEHKI

If you watch Baddies, you already know why people were watching this one.

Tesehki has developed a reputation as one of the most feared fighters in the Baddies universe.

We've seen enough footage over the years to know that when Tesehki starts tying her hair back...

SOMEBODY BETTER START STRETCHING. 😭

So naturally, plenty of fans entered Saturday night believing they already knew how this story was going to end.

Big Lex apparently didn't get that memo.

Because there's a major difference between a reality-show fight that explodes in a room and an actual boxing match where you've got rounds, gloves, rules, judges and a referee.

And Big Lex wasn't completely unfamiliar with boxing.

Before the fight, Lex revealed that she'd had some boxing training when she was younger, reportedly training for about six months.

Okayyyyy Lex.

So you had a little something tucked away in the purse.

šŸ˜‚šŸ„Š

Once the bell rang, this wasn't the one-sided destruction some people expected.

Both women had their moments, but as the three-round fight progressed, Lex kept working.

And by that third round?

BABY, THINGS GOT INTERESTING.

Lex stayed active and increasingly aggressive, putting together combinations while Tesehki appeared to slow down.

And when the final bell rang...

Nobody had been knocked out.

So now it was time for the judges.

šŸ‘€šŸ‘€šŸ‘€

AND THE WINNER WAS...

šŸ† BIG LEX.

BY UNANIMOUS DECISION.

Yep.

ALL THREE JUDGES GAVE BIG LEX THE FIGHT.

BABYYYYYYYYY.

😭😭😭😭

Somebody check on the BaddiesĀ group chat.

Because I KNOW somebody typed:

ā€œWell damn.ā€

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

And before anybody starts rewriting history, let's make an important distinction.

Does that result automatically mean Big Lex is now the greatest fighter in BaddiesĀ history?

No.

Does it settle every hypothetical argument about who would win in a completely different kind of fight?

No.

But on August 15, inside a boxing ring, under boxing rules, the judges decided that Big Lex beat Tesehki.

That's what happened.

And some Tesehki supporters immediately began questioning the decision online.

Of course they did.

Because social media has NEVER met a decision it couldn't appeal from somebody's couch.

šŸ˜šŸ˜‚

There have even been online claims that the fight was somehow fixed or staged, but there's no credible evidence establishing that.

So until somebody brings receipts instead of hashtags:

THE OFFICIAL RESULT STANDS.

BIG LEX WON.

And she walked away with the distinction of becoming the Baddies boxing champion.

Baby...

🚨 WAIT... DID TESEHKI JUST EXPOSE THE BIG LEX FIGHT?! šŸ‘€

A document circulating online appears to claim Tesehki was to receive $550,000 to lose to Big Lex, but 730 BOOM has NOT independently verified the document's authenticity or confirmed that it originated from Tesehki.

The next BaddiesĀ argument is going to be UNBEARABLE.

Somebody gonna tell Lex:

ā€œYou can't fight.ā€

And Lex is gonna pull a championship belt out from underneath the couch.

😭😭😭

šŸ’µ NOW LET'S GET TO RAY J AND ORLANDO BROWN...

Lord have mercy.

Where do we begin?

These two had been building toward this fight for MONTHS.

And if you thought the actual boxing match was going to be the strangest part...

You apparently missed the press conference.

Because during one of their confrontations leading up to the fight, Orlando Brown slapped Ray J across the face with a wad of cash.

Not his hand.

MONEY.

šŸ’µšŸ’„šŸ˜

Ray J got hit with something you normally WANT somebody to throw at you.

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Imagine explaining that injury.

ā€œWhat happened to your face?ā€

ā€œI got hit with $700.ā€

ā€œSingles?ā€

😭

So by the time Saturday arrived, everybody wanted to know whether Ray J and Orlando were actually going to fight or whether we'd already witnessed the main event at the press conference.

But they got into the ring.

The bell rang.

And...

BABY.

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Let's just say nobody watching this fight accidentally confused it with Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier.

There were awkward exchanges.

There was some unusual movement.

There were moments when it looked exactly like what you'd expect when two entertainers with personal beef decide:

ā€œMAN, GIVE ME SOME BOXING GLOVES.ā€

😭🄊

But they DID fight.

And despite all that pre-fight drama...

There was no knockout in this one either.

So once again...

WE WENT TO THE JUDGES.

And the winner was...

šŸ‘€

šŸ‘€

šŸ‘€

šŸ† RAY J.

BY UNANIMOUS DECISION.

YES.

BRANDY'S LITTLE BROTHER GOT HIM A WIN.

šŸ˜‚šŸ„Š

🄊 RAY J HAD SOMETHING TO PROVE

And let's not forget, Ray J was looking for redemption.Ā Just a few months earlier, he was knocked out by Supah Hot Fire in the second roundĀ of a celebrity fight. So against Orlando Brown, Ray wasn't just fighting beef...

HE WAS TRYING NOT TO BECOME ANOTHER DAMN MEME. 😭🄊

This time, Ray J needed a WIN.

Ray J did enough over the course of the fight for all three judges to award him the decision over Orlando Brown.

And according to post-fight coverage, this gave Ray J his first combat-sports victory.

Look at Ray J collecting accomplishments nobody had on the bingo card.

Singer.

Actor.

Entrepreneur.

Reality star.

Headphone salesman.

And now...

ORLANDO BROWN SURVIVOR.

šŸ˜šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

šŸ˜‚ AND BRANDY HAD SOMETHING TO SAY

Of course, Ray J's big sister BrandyĀ was paying attention to what her brother was doing.

She showed support for Ray J after his victory, although her reaction also suggested she wasn't necessarily campaigning for her little brother to turn boxing into his next full-time profession.

And I agree with Brandy.

Ray...

Baby...

YOU WON.

Take the victory.

Take the picture.

Put the gloves in a glass case.

AND GO HOME.

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

You do NOT have to fight Floyd Mayweather on Zeus next month.

We're good.

šŸ† SO WHO ACTUALLY WON ZEUS FIGHT NIGHT?

Now that you've read this far, HERE are your answers:

🄊 BIG LEX vs. TESEHKI

šŸ† WINNER: BIG LEX Unanimous decision after three rounds

🄊 RAY J vs. ORLANDO BROWN

šŸ† WINNER: RAY J Unanimous decision

And despite our ā€œWHO GOT KNOCKED OUT?ā€Ā graphic...

NOBODY.

😭😭😭

Not Big Lex.

Not Tesehki.

Not Ray J.

Not Orlando Brown.

NOT A DAMN SOUL GOT KNOCKED OUT.

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

But somebody's BRAGGING RIGHTS definitely got knocked sideways.

And if we're talking about who really came out of Saturday night with something to talk about?

BIG LEX.

Because beating Tesehki in a boxing match was the result that had BaddiesĀ fans talking.

Post-fight coverage even suggested that the Big Lex-Tesehki matchup generated more excitement than Ray J and Orlando Brown's celebrity fight.

That's saying something.

You had Ray J.

You had Orlando Brown.

You had months of foolishness.

You had a man getting slapped with MONEY.

And the BaddiesĀ STILL came through and said:

ā€œMOVE. THIS OUR NIGHT.ā€

šŸ˜šŸ„ŠšŸ˜‚

And Zeus may have accidentally discovered another whole lane.

Because instead of putting reality stars in a house and waiting for somebody to yell:

ā€œWHEN I SEE HER...ā€

Now Zeus can simply respond:

ā€œGREAT. WE HAVE A RING AVAILABLE SATURDAY.ā€

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Put them in gloves.

Give them a referee.

Give them three rounds.

Sell some tickets.

And let everybody finally find out whether all that talking survives the opening bell.

After Saturday night, there's really only one question left:

WHO DOES ZEUS PUT IN THE RING NEXT?!Ā šŸ‘€šŸ„Š
