Angel Reese just grabbed another piece of WNBA history, and this one deserves some serious applause.

The former Chicago Sky star and current Atlanta Dream forward became the first player in WNBA history to collect 500 rebounds in a single season during Atlanta's 106-81 victory over Chicago on Saturday night. Reese finished the game with 23 points and 10 rebounds, recording her 31st double-double of the season.

And yes, Chicago, we see the irony.

She reached 500 against the SKY. 😂

👑 THE REBOUND QUEEN KEEPS REWRITING THE BOOK

Five hundred rebounds would already be ridiculous enough, but Reese has been collecting records this season like somebody told her there was a clearance sale.

Earlier this year, she broke A'ja Wilson's WNBA single-season rebounding record of 451. On the very same night, Reese grabbed 26 rebounds in one game, breaking the previous WNBA single-game record of 24 set by Chamique Holdsclaw in 2003.

She has also established new WNBA single-season marks for offensive rebounds and double-doubles.

That's not hype. That's the record book getting attacked with a Sharpie. 😂

❤️ CHICAGO WILL ALWAYS BE PART OF HER STORY

Reese may be wearing an Atlanta Dream uniform now, but Chicago watched the beginning of her professional journey.

She entered the WNBA with the Sky in 2024 and immediately showed that rebounding was going to be her calling card, finishing her rookie season with 446 rebounds and a then-record 13.1 rebounds per game.

Atlanta acquired Reese from Chicago in April 2026, and apparently she packed the rebounding machine in her luggage because she hasn't slowed down.

Now, at just 24 years old, Angel Reese is the first WNBA player ever to reach 500 rebounds in one season.
