730 BOOM RADIO | RED ALERT™

Well, apparently somebody may have been treating Fort Dix like Fort Diddy. 😳

Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been returned to the Special Housing Unit, commonly called SHU or solitary confinement, at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey while officials investigate allegations about contraband and unusual privileges he may have received behind bars. The reported move follows an NBC News investigation based on interviews with four men who said they spent time in Combs’ unit, along with photos and video reviewed by the network. NBC Washington

WAIT... WHAT WAS HE ALLEGEDLY GETTING?

According to the NBC investigation, former inmates alleged that Combs paid other prisoners to cook for him, clean his living areas, make his bed, wash his clothes and even give him massages. Specially prepared food allegedly included curry chicken, pizza and empanadas. NBC Washington

But THAT wasn't the part that raised the biggest eyebrows.

Sources also alleged Combs had access to contraband cellphones, a modified tablet and premium liquor. NBC reported reviewing footage that appeared to show Combs using a prohibited phone. NBC Washington

Baby...

A cook?Laundry service?Massages?Special meals?Phones?

SIR, THIS IS FEDERAL PRISON, NOT AN ALL-INCLUSIVE RESORT. 😭

🚨 BUT HERE'S THE IMPORTANT PART

These remain allegations, and Combs' reported placement in SHU does not mean prison officials have concluded he committed the alleged violations.

Federal prisons can place inmates in administrative detention while allegations are investigated or when separation is considered necessary for security or safety. Baller Alert

And the Bureau of Prisons isn't confirming the details of Combs' individual situation. The agency told NBC it does not discuss individual inmates' conditions because of privacy, safety and security concerns. It did acknowledge that contraband, including cellphones and narcotics, remains an ongoing problem in correctional facilities. NBC Washington

DIDDY’S TEAM PUSHES BACK

Combs' spokesperson disputes the picture being painted of his prison life, saying media attention has turned ordinary details of his incarceration into news and maintaining that Combs continues serving his sentence while awaiting a decision on his appeal. NBC Washington

This also reportedly isn't Combs' first trip to restricted housing at Fort Dix. He was placed in solitary following an altercation with another inmate this summer and was later released back into the general prison population. Rolling Stone Australia

Combs is serving a 50-month federal sentence after a jury convicted him in 2025 on two counts involving transportation for prostitution. The same jury acquitted him of racketeering conspiracy and sex-trafficking charges. Complex

Now the question isn't whether the internet is going to have jokes. We already know THAT answer. 😂

The real question is whether investigators determine that the alleged phones, alcohol and other privileges actually existed, how they got inside Fort Dix and whether anyone else was involved.

Because if somebody was really getting Hennessy, massages and freshly cooked curry chicken in federal prison...

the investigation might be bigger than Diddy. 👀
